A Good Innings

2005, 25 minutes

'A Good Innings' is a humorous uplifting half hour documentary about a group of men from diverse backgrounds, tastes and nationalities who have one thing in common - their love of cricket.  By spending time in lazy summer days around the club in Dublin’s Phoenix Park, we get into the mindset of why these men spend so much of their leisure time playing this very ‘British’ game.

Review

"A very stylised and subjective snapshot of an arcane world…a gorgeously assembled picture of a gentle, maybe slightly eccentric, by water of Irish cricket."
